Privacy Policy

In its capacity as a provider (hereinafter referred to as “Provider”) Kludi GmbH & Co. KG is committed to data privacy and provides its services in a way which ensures that personal data is only collected, processed and used to the extent necessary. In no circumstances is personal data leased or sold to third parties for advertising purposes. No personal data is passed on to third parties for advertising purposes without informing and obtaining the consent of the customer in advance. Personal data is only made available to persons who have been informed about the statutory provisions regarding data privacy and who are legally bound to comply with these. Data is only accessed by such persons to the extent which is necessary for the purposes of the contractual relationship. With these terms we notify you in our capacity as Provider about which of your personal data we collect and how we handle your personal data in our capacity as the Provider:

Collection, processing and use of data in the context of the services offered by us/use of cookies

When the user simply accesses the website the Provider only collects the data which is sent to the Provider by your terminal device (e.g. your browser). Among other things this is the date and time at which our website was visited, the URL of the referencing web page, the files accessed, the volume of data sent, the type and version of browser used, the operating system and your IP address. The Provider does not store any other data, either on its website or on its computer system. Such data is deleted by the Provider’s server immediately after use. This data is evaluated exclusively in anonymised form for legally permissible purposes.

The Provider uses cookies. Cookies are small files which are created by the Provider’s web server and sent to your web browser to enable you to use the Provider’s service and which are only stored on your computer. Cookies help you to navigate and in this way make it easier for you to use the Provider’s service. If you wish to prevent cookies from being stored on your computer in the future, please refer to the instructions provided by your browser producer by clicking the browser’s “Help” tab. Please note that if you do delete cookies sent by the Provider or if you deactivate cookies in the future this may prevent you from accessing certain areas or functions of the Provider’s website.

When responding to customer service enquiries the Provider collects the following personal data from you: information about the purchased product (series, item number, fitting type, surface, installation date, number), your name, your postal address and telephone number. The Provider requires this data in order to clarify your enquiry with you. The Provider stores your personal data while it is dealing with your customer service enquiry and only uses your data exclusively for this purpose. Data is not transferred. The Provider deletes the personal data stored for this purpose as soon as it has finished dealing with your customer service enquiry. In the context of “Professional Platform Registration” the Provider collects your name, your postal address and your email address in order to be able to send you further information about the Provider’s products and services. You agree to the processing and use of your data for the purpose of sending further information, including in particular for the purpose of sending you such information in electronic form by email (e.g. newsletter). You are entitled to revoke such consent at any time at no additional transmission costs other than the basic rates. Data is not transferred. The Provider will delete the personal data it has stored as soon as you revoke your consent to its use.

Basic data

If a contractual relationship is created between you and the Provider or if the contents of such a contractual relationship are established or altered, we collect and use your personal data to the extent that this is necessary for such purposes. This will include but not be limited to characteristics used to identify you as well as information about the times at which you start and finish using our service and any further information which you voluntarily provide.

Usage data

The Provider collects and uses your personal data where this is necessary to enable you to use the Provider’s Internet service and to settle charges (usage data). This will include but not be limited to characteristics used to identify you as well as information about the times at which you start and finish using our service and any further information which you voluntarily provide. The Supplier shall be entitled to create user profiles when pseudonyms are used for advertising and market research purposes and to design its Internet services to meet requirements. You have the right to protest this usage of your data. The Provider shall not be entitled to collate such user profiles with the person associated with the pseudonym.

Data security

The Provider complies with the technical and organisational measures which are required under the Federal Data Protection Act and which meet data privacy requirements.

Disclosure of data to public authorities

Personal customer data will only be disclosed to public authorities, such as public prosecutors and courts if a written and enforceable official or court order is issued and/or in accordance with applicable regulations to the extent that the Provider is required to do so.

Consent

If you give your consent enabling the Supplier to collect, process or use your data, the Provider draws your attention to the fact that such consent may be revoked at any time. Consent must be revoked by sending an email to [email protected] Alternatively, you may also send your revocation by fax or letter. Right to information/deletion of personal data

You are entitled to see your personal data which has been stored at any time and at no charge. Requests for information must be sent to the Provider by email to [email protected] or by post. Such requests will be answered promptly by email or by post, we draw your attention to the fact that email is not secure. Legitimate requests for deletion or information will be met by the Provider without delay. Your personal data will be deleted when the contractual relationship with you comes to an end, unless the Provider processes and/or uses such data after you have provided prior consent to the Provider to, for example, enable the Provider to send you the newsletter or to send you updated documentation about product changes/supplements. In no circumstances will data which is subject to mandatory statutory retention periods be deleted. Such data will be frozen by the Provider.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics: a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”; these are text files which are stored on your computer to analyse the way you use the website. The information about the way you use this website created by the cookie is sent to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If the IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will first truncate your IP address in Member States of the European Union or in other state parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to and truncated on a Google server in the USA.

Google uses this information on behalf of the website operator to evaluate the way you use the website, to collate reports on website activities and to provide the website operator other services related to website and Internet use. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data held by Google. You can change your browser settings to prevent cookies from being stored; however, the Provider draws your attention to the fact that, in these circumstances, you may find that you are unable to make full use of functions on the website. You can also prevent the data (including your IP address) relating to your use of the website which is captured by the cookie being sent to or processed by Google by downloading and installing the available browser plug-in (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

The Provider uses Google Analytics to evaluate data from AdWords and the DoubleClick cookie for statistical purposes. If you object, you can opt out using Ads Preferences (http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de).

Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Provider reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy, in particular when changes are made to the services it offers and in line with the development of new technical security standards.
