The Pure Function segment of the Sauerland-based fittings specialist Kludi (www.kludi.com) is the perfect choice when first-class functionality and solid reliability are the order of the day for the bathroom. ‘It is the perfect symbiosis of price, performance and design,’ says Christian Schmidt, Head of Building Services and Sampling at Heinz von Heiden GmbH, constructors of solid brick houses. His company installs Pure Function fittings in around 500 properties every year. The master plumber Erik Poolen also gives the Pure Function product line a clear thumbs up ‘due to the solid, reliable functionality’. His plumbing firm installs around 150 Pure Function mixers annually. In light of the very positive feedback from both domestic and interna-tional markets, the Menden-based premium brand is expanding its Pure Function collection with the Kludi Decus in 2023.
The perfect choice for urban interiors
The new series is led by a design that rigorously rules out all super-fluous elements. A combination of uncompromising straight lines, precise edges and harmonious proportions characterises the Decus single-lever washbasin mixer. The flat, upwardly pointing lever adds an exciting dynamic to this untroubled aesthetic, resulting in an ele-gant appearance with a fresh, modern touch. As a result, the Kludi Decus is the perfect match for urban-style interiors, looking particularly outstanding in newer bathrooms. The use of precise lines and the geometrically designed base body, spout, rosette and lever is testimony to the high quality of workmanship. Reduced to the essentials, Decus creates a harmonious ensemble with angular natural stone washbasins or rectangular bowls, whether these are ceramic or cast mineral composite.
Besides the single-lever mixers, which can be operated by a lever on the top or on the side, the Decus series includes a bidet mixer and wall-mounted models for showers and baths. All basin mixers are equipped with innovative water-saving technologies that reduce the flow rate to five litres per minute as standard, without having to compromise on comfort.
Plastic? No thanks!
The Kludi Decus packaging contains no plastic – which also holds true for the entire Pure Function product line and all new products launched since 2019. The fittings specialist insists on using environmentally friendly and certified materials which can either be recycled or composted after use.
