Back in the kitchen – with a true classic
The latest Kludi Mix has an impressive feature set for outstanding convenience
Kludi (www.kludi.com), the fittings specialist from Germany’s Sauerland region, is back in the kitchen. Besides strategically consolidating its range of kitchen fittings, Kludi is launching its new kitchen sink-top products this spring. First and foremost among these products is the Kludi Mix fitting, confirming the premium brand’s triumphant return to the kitchen: “Kludi Mix is the flagship of our kitchen campaign, as it can do everything and has everything that consumers want from a kitchen fitting,” explains Arndt Papenfuß, the premium brand’s Marketing Director, who is also responsible for product management at Kludi. “Kludi Mix is not only aesthetically beautiful, it also boasts excellent performance, reliability and a wide range of features that make working in the kitchen enjoyable and conveniently easy.”
‘Improving every detail’
The long-established manufacturer, with almost a century of experience in developing and producing quality fittings, focused on adding value for users when designing these new kitchen fittings. “We studied kitchen fittings in depth to identify how we can improve them in every detail for our customers, from installation to day-to-day use,” emphasises Arndt Papenfuß. “Besides choosing premium materials, features and utility were our clear priorities.”
Click it, clip it, do it!
This starts with their particularly simple installation process that makes kitchen fitters’ and plumbers’ work much easier. Models with a pull-out spout reduce the installer’s workload with a ‘Click-it’ counterweight, which has long been manufactured without lead: To fasten it, installers don’t have to waste their time and energy screwing it into place – it simply clicks on in one step and without tools. The whole process takes just seconds. No tools are needed for the ‘Clip-it’ quick connector either – it simply snaps into place. Kludi also came up with a shaft fastening solution that ensures that the fitting is held firmly in place without requiring special tools, unlike many other systems. The shaft nut can be screwed on by hand and then fastened with three cap screws. Extra-long, flexible connecting hos-es, 110 millimetres longer than standard hoses, eliminate the need for awkward exten-sions. “For our specialist customers in the plumbing trade and kitchen retail sector, this unique ease of installation makes their work appreciably easier and saves them a lot of time. That gives our specialist partners more time for their core business, and lets them get more out of their day,” says Marketing Director Papenfuß.
Users will love working with Kludi Mix, too, especially as the extensive feature set that every fitting offers is in line with users’ needs and wants. Kludi Mix is available in two per-formance classes: The ‘Comfort’ version provides all basic features needed for top per-formance, while the ‘Comfort Plus’ adds even more value with four practical extra fea-tures. Consumers can choose between a pull-out spout for super-easy handling, a multi-connector and – from spring 2022 on – a fold-flat spout for installation under windows, as well as a pull-out hand spray with two types of jet that are easy to switch at the push of a button.
Optically, too, the new Kludi Mix makes a great impression at the kitchen sink, whether in glossy chrome or trendy matt black. The fitting combines flowing transitions with dynam-ic contours. The spout is angled gently upwards, freeing up space at the sink. The round body blends harmoniously with the semi-circular shape of the spout and the flat control lever on top. Customers can choose their favourite from an open bar handle or a closed lever. In short, it makes a no-frills, yet confident statement in the kitchen!
