It doesn’t get better than this

Fittings specialist Kludi receives “Plus X” award as “Best Brand of the Year 2022”

No other fittings manufacturer has experienced so much success in the “Plus X Award” over the past twelve months as Kludi ( 2021 saw the fittings specialist from Menden in north-west Germany given five of these awards, which the organiser describes as “the world’s largest innovation award for technology, sports and lifestyle”. Over 700 brands took part in the competition in total. The independent jury, consisting of international experts from over 80 different sectors, gave the “Kludi Bozz” fittings series a “Plus X Award” in five out of seven categories. This incredible performance has now been followed with another “Plus X Award”, as Kludi was crowned “Best Brand of the Year 2022” in the “fittings” product category. “We are of course very proud to have come out ahead of our competitors in one of the highest ‘Plus X’ prize categories”, says Arndt Papenfuss, Marketing Director of the Kludi Group. “This shows the success of both our strategic brand realignment and our reworked brand identity on the market. It is also re-ward for our focus on what we do best – developing and producing fittings for bathrooms and kitchens – and the work of our new innovation management team, who are dedicat-ed to improving benefits for customers.”

Switching made simple – focus on ease of use
It is therefore unsurprising that the members of the “Plus X Award” jury were impressed by just how easy it was to use the “Push & Switch” push-button switching system, which is also used in the “Bozz” concealed single-lever mixers. Based on clever German valve technology, Kludi’s innovation is the first and so far only system in the world that replaces unwieldy pull-up diverters with a simple and intuitive process. “The innovative nature of Kludi Bozz lies in the detail and does its work in the shower and at the edge of the bath-tub”, said the jury explaining their decision. “The new concealed trim sets feature a brand-new push-button-based diverter called ‘Push & Switch’. This uses a durable valve and does away with the conventional spring-based system. This leads to fewer errors and makes switching between water outlets easy every time, regardless of water pressure.”
