KLUDI-NOVA FONTE PURA | Lifestyle for the bathroom

Creative colour design

Menden / Munich - January 2025.

The bathroom is increasingly developing into a lifestyle space in which functionality and aesthetics are seamlessly intertwined. The integration of colours in particular is opening up new perspectives for architects, interior designers and planners when designing individual bathrooms. Kludi, the specialist for high-quality bathroom fittings and kitchen taps, is driving this trend forward: the Kludi-Nova Fonte Pura tap collection combines elegance with a clear, restrained lightness. Refined geomet-ries and perfectly balanced proportions create a purist, harmonious mixer tap design. The extended colour range of the successful series now offers twelve elegant finishes and opens up almost unlimited pos-sibilities for individual bathroom design.

Design with character: Introducing New Colour Worlds

Bathroom design is steadily moving beyond the dominance of neutral tones like white and chrome. Instead, the spotlight is on matt, warm hues and elegant metallic accents. Kludi is embracing this trend by expanding its surface finishes: In addition to the established chrome, matt black and matt white finishes, there are now rust-coloured PVD variants such as brushed gold, brushed bronze, brushed gunmetal and brushed nickel as well as five matt powder coatings in elegant shades of blue, subtle shades of dove grey and a vibrant vermillion red.

Inspiration for bathroom architecture

‘With the new surface variants of the Nova-Fonte Pura range, Kludi provides architects and designers with an inspiring tool for creative design concepts,’ explains Harald Hotop, Managing Director of Kludi. ‘With a wide range of colours and finishes, we open up the possibility of combining fittings, washbasins and furniture to create unique, inspir-ing compositions.’ With its range, Kludi is positioning itself as an inno-vation leader and reliable partner for sophisticated bathroom architec-ture. Architects and planners are thus given the opportunity to interpret the bathroom space not only functionally, but also as a creative statement.

Technological excellence: Sustainability and durable finishes

In order to meet the high demands of planners and building owners, Kludi uses two advanced coating technologies in the production of its fittings:

1. Powder coating for matt surfaces: Using an electrostatic coating process, matt pastel shades achieve rich colour depth and outstanding durability. The application of finely ground polyuretha-ne and epoxy resin particles results in a robust, chemical-resistant surface. As no solvents are used in the process, it is also en-vironmentally friendly.

2. PVD technology for metallic finishes: For shiny colours such as gold, bronze or black metal, Kludi relies on the physical vapour deposition process (PVD). An extremely hard and durable coating that is around ten times harder than chrome is applied in a vacu-um chamber. This method not only guarantees brilliant colour quality, but also exceptional durability - an important criterion for long-lasting architectural projects.

Manufacturing expertise for a exquisite design

The slim, minimalist design of all Kludi-Nova Fonte models allows for a significant reduction in the material required for production, saving raw materials and energy. Kludi also ensures environmental compa-tibility by using certified, eco-friendly materials, including packaging. Instead of plastic, Kludi opts for biodegradable, bio-based materials made from renewable resources. Moreover, all Kludi-Nova Fonte Pura basin mixers are designed to limit water flow to just five litres per minute as standard - delivering high comfort while conserving resources. This is especially true for the EcoPlus models in the series, where the lever’s default position ensures cold water flow, further reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. By significantly reducing its ecological footprint, Klu-di-Nova Fonte Pura meets the highest standards of contemporary sustainability.
