Novelty 2024 / 2025: KLUDI-DECUS
A sculptural masterpiece of modern bath-room design
Menden (Germany), November 2024
As the new product of the year 2024 / 2025, the Decus fitting series from Kludi impresses with its timeless aesthetics and makes a clear statement in every bathroom with its design. The outstanding design language combines clear lines in a unique way, seamlessly merging cubic elements with a soft, organic style. The flat operating lever, which appears to float on the delicate tap body, is a distinctive stylis-tic element of exceptional visual and tactile quality.
Diverse variants for all bathroom areas
The Decus collection offers a comprehensive range of options for all areas of the bathroom, creating an eye-catching look whether at the washbasin, in the shower, the bathtub, or at the WC/bidet. The com-plete program includes single-lever mixers, two-hole and three-hole taps, various tap heights—including versions for countertop washba-sins—and matching spout lengths. This allows the entire bathroom to be equipped with a cohesive design tailored to the preferences and needs of the residents.
Design thought through down to the smallest detail
It is not just the flat operating lever that offers special visual and functional qualities. Other thoughtful design features, such as a con-cealed fastening on the back of the mixer tap, emphasize the mini-malist elegance of the range. An advantage during installation: quick fastening is achieved easily with a threaded rod. The wide projection of the mixer taps also provides more free space for use at the wash-basin. Another advantage in terms of sustainability: the tap bodies are made of high-quality, recyclable brass, and the molded rosette at the base of the tap is another premium design feature. Furthermore, a special PCA cartridge reduces the water flow rate on all basin mix-ers to just 5 liters per minute without sacrificing comfort.
Noble brilliance and elegant matt surfaces
Various metallic finishes are very popular in the home. Brushed gold, brushed bronze, and brushed black metal (gunmetal) are currently very much in vogue. Accordingly, the variety of colors and finishes offered by Decus is another highlight: there are a total of seven high-quality finishes to choose from. These range from traditional high-gloss chrome to elegant matte black and matte white, as well as warm, trendy colors such as brushed gold, brushed bronze, brushed gunmetal, and stainless brushed nickel. Kludi uses the physical vapor deposition (PVD) process to produce these brilliant surface variants with outstanding quality and luster. This process, originally developed for aerospace technology, results in surfaces that are particularly hard-wearing and durable.
Fine accessories - two collections to choose from
With their geometric shapes and flat bodies, the accessories in the Vela C range perfectly complement the modern design of Decus. The clear lines and the use of matte glass elements—such as on shelves and soap dispensers—make these accessories a stylish highlight in the bathroom. Vela R is ideal for those who prefer to con-tinue the round and harmonious lines of Decus in their accessories. In combination with matte glass elements, this series also pairs seamlessly with the fittings program. A wide range of accessories for all bathroom areas is available for both Vela C and Vela R: towel and bath towel rails, shelves, cosmetic mirrors, soap dispensers, and glass holders, as well as hooks and toilet roll holders. Like the fittings, these accessories are available in seven high-quality finishes.
