Spa-throom: A new dimension of the wellness bathroom

In this day and age, when our everyday lives are becoming increasingly fast-paced, we long more and more for moments of peace and relaxation. One place that is perfect for this is the bathroom. The need for a relaxing wellness experience in one's own home has given rise to a new trend that goes far beyond classic bathroom design: the spa-throom.

A space for the soul
The term "spa-throom" is a combination of the words "spa" and "bathroom" and describes a new type of bathroom that is not only used for body care, but also gives well-being to the soul. Spa-throoms are unique places of retreat where you can recharge your batteries and recover from the stresses of everyday life. The trendy wellness locations are often characterised by a harmonious interplay of aesthetics, functionality and technology.

Multifaceted elements
An authentic spa-throom is characterised by different elements that focus on the wellness experience. The use of natural materials, such as wood and stone, or the integration of plants into the concept create a calming and grounding atmosphere. In addition, there is often well thought-out lighting, preferably in different colour shades, which can have a positive effect on the mood. Also pleasant scents also contribute to well-being and round off the wellness experience. Clear lines, open spaces and reduced furnishings provide a harmonious overall picture and create an oasis of calm.

A water paradise in your own bathroom
An inviting bathtub, a spacious and level shower or a small waterfall contribute to a relaxing and comfortable bathing experience. The lapping of the water has a calming effect and makes you forget the stress of the day. Smart technologies enable individual adaptation to one's own needs. Thanks to a combination of nature, light, water and technology, the bathroom becomes a comfortable spa-throom.
