Electronic mixer taps in the KLUDI ZENTA design

Menden, 2014 – KLUDI, a leading supplier of kitchen and bathroom mixer taps and showers, is expanding its successful KLUDI ZENTA line with six electronic models. The advantages are plain to see. They are particularly hygienic as they can be activated without touching the tap and save a lot of water as the flow is regulated exactly. The water starts and stops running without intake and outlet time. The KLUDI ZENTA electronic mixer taps reduce the water flow to 5 litres per minute and are therefore particularly well suited for semi-public and public areas – for instance in schools, motorway service stations, restaurants, cinemas and theatres. They also cut a stylish figure in homes with their characteristic KLUDI ZENTA design.

Wide variety with the advantages of series production

The KLUDI ZENTA line of mixer taps impresses with its sheer variety. It offers the right solution for practically every use, whether for a wash basin, bath or shower. The design line even continues into the kitchen. Six electronic mixer taps for washbasins complete the range of products.

There are only a few electronic mixer taps with the advantages of series production. Often they are only available as single articles that don’t really match anything else. However with KLUDI it’s immediately recognisable: they are part of the family, as the basic structural forms of KLUDI ZENTA – cylinder and rectangle – are continued in the electronic mixer taps. The rectangular sensor window with rounded edges has been skilfully adapted with the characteristic features of the product line. The red/blue ZENTA marks for temperature taken from the original are also typical.

Three different versions – battery-operated (9 V) or with mains adapter (12 V) – are available to suit every aspiration and requirement. The simplest version is the pillar tap which is only for cold water. The versions with a mixer shaft represent another alternative. In this case, the temperature can be preset. With the third version, you can set the required water temperature individually with the thermostatic handle using the mixer shaft.

Safety first at all times

The KLUDI ZENTA electronic mixer taps are not only attractive in appearance but they also offer many practical and hygienic features. The valves for KLUDI ZENTA are tested with air instead of water unlike some others. This is considerably more hygienic, as the valve stays dry until it is installed and this prevents Legionnaires’ disease or bacteria from developing. The infrared sensor has three transmitters and thus offers a high level of safety from accidental operation, which could be triggered by drops of water on the sensor window for instance. If the sensor is covered over for some reason and water runs constantly by accident, it will be turned off automatically after two minutes. The soft-close solenoid valve in turn prevents pressure surges and only needs power for opening and closing, however not while the water is running. The versions which are adapter-operated also have a capacitor that acts as a buffer. This means there is always enough voltage available to close the valve even during a power cut.
